Our prediction for this Serie B match:
A spot in the Serie B will be at stake when Salernitana and Sampdoria go head to head at Stadio Arechi on Sunday evening. I Granata aim to overcome a two-goal deficit in front of home fans and they have no other option but to go all guns blazing at La Samp. Bear in mind, though, that Slovenia defender Petar Stojanovic misses the decider through suspension.
Alberico Evani’s troops, on the other hand, proved their worth in the first leg and they are now on a quest to defend their lead in Salerno. Even though experienced forward Fabio Borini is sidelined through suspension, we predict that the Blucerchiati are going to hold Salernitana to a draw and secure the Serie B promotion. Sampdoria defender Marco Curto is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after sealing the victory in the first leg.
