Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Sunday’s football game at Stadio Paolo Mazza pits together Spal and Palermo, the two bottom-table sides. The Gli Spalini do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last four league matches, but a win over Palermo could see them escape the relegation zone. Forward Gabriele Moncini suffered an injury in the midweek draw with Perugia, with fellow attacker Andrea La Mantia likely to step up.
The Sicilians, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team losing to Venezia, beating Benevento, while sharing the spoils with Como. Palermo, though, often struggle on the travels, and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from Sunday’s encounter. All Roberto Crivello, Masimiliano Doda, Alessio Buttaro, and Salvatore Elia should miss out with injuries, speaking of the away side.
Highlighted Player (Alberto Pomini):
Alberto Pomini is a 185-cm-tall goalkeeper who played for Verona during his youth career. In 2001 he moved to San Marino and he made 17 league appearances for the club in the Serie C2. At the end of the season he signed a deal with Bellaria and after playing 20 games for the club, he moved to Sassuolo in 2004.
Pomini played for the Neroverdi in the Serie C2 back then, but the club have been making progress year by year. Sassuolo are currently playing in the Italian top flight, but it has to be noted that Pomini did not see any game action in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign.
