Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Lazio aim to recover from a painful 1-0 defeat to Roma in the Derby della Capitale. The Biancocelesti have an excellent recent record at Luigi Ferraris, having beaten Genoa in each of their last three visits. Still, they will be without suspended duo Ayman Kari Belahyane and Matteo Guendouzi, while both Pedro and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru face late fitness tests after picking up knocks in the Rome derby. Genoa, meanwhile, are still eyeing their first league victory of the campaign.
The Rossoblu have shown plenty of fight so far, and with no fresh injury concerns, they will be hopeful of holding their ground. Even though the visitors carry more quality on paper, fatigue and suspensions could take their toll. Genoa are likely to adopt a cautious approach, aiming to frustrate the capital club and hit on the break when possible. Taking everything into account, there is a big value in betting on draw.
