Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Genoa will be aiming to make a flying start to their Serie A campaign as they welcome Lecce to their Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday evening. The Rossoblu are seen as favourites to win their season opener, but the Giallorossi should not be underestimated. As the likes of Koni De Winter, Honest Ahanor, and Albert Gudmundsson are no longer parts of the team, home win should not be considered.
Lecce, on the other hand, are on the same quest as the last season. The Giallorossi are eager to secure yet another elite division survival and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from their opener. A close encounter is on the cards at “Luigi Ferraris” and we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils this time out. Nikola Krstovic is rated doubtful for the visiting team as the Montenegro striker is on the verge of leaving the club.
