Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Inter and Napoli, the two title-chasing teams, face each other at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in a highly-anticipated Serie A clash. The Nerazzurri shared the spoils with Milan in the Derby della Madonnina before the international break, with Lautaro Martinez failing to convert a penalty kick. Inter are eager to melt Napoli’s advantage in the Serie A standings, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Napoli.
Both Alessandro Bastoni and Edin Dzeko face race against clock to be fit for Sunday’s clash, while Stefan de Vrij remains in the recovery room. Napoli, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the standings, but given their anything but good display in a 1-1 draw with Verona, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the Nerazzurri. All Malcuit, Manolas, and Demme are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Daniele Padelli):
Daniele Padelli is a professional footballer who played for the likes of Lecco and Como during his youth career. During his spell with Como, he caught the eye of Sampdoria scouts and went on to join the Serie A outfit in 2004. However, he did not see any game action during his spell at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
After spending several seasons on loan at Pizzighettone, Crotone, Liverpool, Pisa, Avellino and Bari he joined Udinese on 31 August, 2011. The Italian goalkeeper signed a loan deal with the Zebrette and he signed a permanent contract with the club on 27 August, 2012. However, it has to be noted that the 193-cm-tall shoot-stopper played no more than nine league games for Udinese between 2011 and 2013.
On 29 May, 2013 he joined Torino on a free transfer and he has been playing for Juve’s local rivals ever since. Padelli made 35 appearances for Torino in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign and he conceded 50 goals in the process, while keeping six clean sheets.
Highlighted Team (Napoli):
SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from the city of Naples which is playing currently in the Serie A. The club was founded officially in 1926 but the history from Napoli reaches back to 1904 with the club Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club that fused with Internazionale Napoli and was called FBC Internaples.
After 4 seasons the club changed its name to SSC Napoli (Societa Sportiva Calcio).
In the end of the eighties Napoli had the biggest success in the club history with the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. Diego Maradona was able to win the league title twice, the national cup and the UEFA cup. The moment Maradona left the club Napoli got into big financial trouble.
In 2004 the local club was bankrupt. Despite the help of financial investors the club got regulated to the Serie C. After 6 years of playing in lower divisions Napoli managed to get back in the Serie A in season 2007/2008. Famous players that played for the club from Naples are: Maradona, Zola, Cavani, Blanc, Di Canio, Cannavaro.
