Lazio and Sassuolo go head to head at Stadio Olimpico in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of Sunday’s program. The Biancocelesti are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, and they must be high on spirits following the 3-0 victory in the Derby della Capitale. Lazio are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play.
Both Proto and Cataldi are sidelined with injuries, but boss Simone Inzaghi can count on key players for the Sassuolo game. The Neroverdi came from behind to share the spoils with Parma in their last league match, with the team remaining in the top half of the table. Bastos started his senior career at domestic club Petro de Luanda and after scoring 6 goals in 105 appearances in the league for Os Tricolores, he moved to Russia in 2013, signing a deal with the Premier League side Rostov.
The 184-cm-tall defender proved his worth in the Russian top flight and, as expected, he decided to take a step forward in his career, signing a contract with famous Serie A team Lazio. Bastos failed to establish himself as a first-team regular with the Biancocelesti, but he plays an important role at the Angola national team. Bastos, whose main position is centre-back, made his international debut for the Palancas Negras on August 10, 2011 in a goalless draw against Liberia. His preferred foot is right.
