Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bologna, Monza will look to retain their spot in top ten when they face reigning champions Milan on Matchday 23. The Biancorossi have been producing excellent displays in 2023, and they must be high on confidence ahead of Saturday’s encounter. Dany Mota is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.

Simon Kjaer began his senior career at FC Midtjylland and in 2008 he moved to Italy, signing a deal with Palermo. The Danish footballer scored his first goal for Palermo on 2 November in a 3-0 victory over Chievo Verona.
After making 62 league appearances for the Sicilian outfit he joined Wolfsburg on 30 June, 2010, playing 57 games in the Bundesliga with the Wolves. After ending his loan spell with Roma, the Danish defenders returns to Woflsburg and on 5 July, 2013 he moved to Lille.
The 189-cm-tall footballer, who was born in Horsens, Denmark on 16 March, 1989, signed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce on 16 June, 2015 for a fee of €7.65 million. Simon Kjaer was named Danish U19 Player of the Year in 2007 and he has 10 caps for the Denmark U19 team. The Fenerbahce defender played for Denmark at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and he started the games against Netherlands and Cameroon in the group stages of the showpiece tournament.
