Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Parma and Milan take on each other at Stadio Ennio Tardini in what is expected to be a very interesting Serie A game. Parma are fighting hard to secure the Serie A survival, but they will have a mountain to climb in Saturday’s football match. Even though the Gli Emiliani scored a late equalizer in a 2-2 draw with Benevento, we do not believe that they are capable of matching the title-chasing visitors. All Brunetta, Inglese, Karamoh, Sohm, Cyprien, Zirkzee, Caviglia, and Iacoponi are out of contention for the hosts, while Mihailia is a major doubt.
The Rossoneri, on the other hand, aim to melt Inter’s advantage in the Serie A standings. Stefano Pioli’s men dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Sampdoria, but they are surely capable of beating Parma behind closed doors. Both Calabria and Romagnoli are sidelined with injuries, while Diaz, Rafael Leao, and Mandzukic are rated doubtful for the match.
Highlighted Player (Jasmin Kurtic):
Jasmin Kurtic is a Slovenian player who started his senior career at Bela Krajina. The midfielder scored seven goals in 74 league appearances for the club, but at the end of the 2009/2010 season he moved to Gorica. After playing just 15 matches for the Slovenian outfit in the 2010/2011 campaign he moved to Palermo, where he gained a lot of experience.
Kurtic spent the 2011/2012 season on loan to Varese and he played an important role in the team, making 42 league appearances. In June, 2013 he signed a permanent deal with Sassuolo, but three months later he was sent on loan to Fiorentina. On 25 June, 2015, the Slovenian footballer joined Atalanta.
Jasmin Kurtic has 2 caps for Slovenia U21 and he made his debut for the senior team on 26 May, 2012. He scored a goal from the set piece against Greece back then. His contract with Atalanta expires on 30 June, 2019.
Highlighted Team (Milan):
AC Milan are regarded as one of the biggest club in Italy. The Rossoneri compete in the Italian Serie A and they have won 18 domestic trophies. Speaking of the club’s European success, Milan have clinched seven Champions League (European Cup) trophies.
Milan were on the verge of beating Liverpool in the 2005 Champions League final, but the Premier League outfit came from three goals behind and eventually won the prestigious trophy on penalties. The Rossoneri play their home games at Stadio San Siro (80,018), the stadium that was opened in 1926. It is well known that Milan’s bitterest rivals are Inter and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals face each other in the Derby della Madonnina.
Milan were founded in 1899 by a lace-maker from England named Herbert Kilpin and a businessman Alfred Edwards. Milan’s home kits are red and black and that is why the team’s nickname is Rossoneri (The Red and Blacks).
The likes of Alessandro Costacurta, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Roberto Donadoni, Dejan Savicevic, Frank Rijkaard, Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit and Andrea Pirlo are the most famous footballers who have represented the San Siro outfit.
