Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Spezia will look to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Sampdoria when they take on Genoa at Stadio Alberto Picco. The Bianconeri sit in the danger zone ahead of Matchday 10, but it has to be noted that they are hit by injuries. All Sher, Nguiamba, Bourabia, Erlic, Kiwior, Leo’Sena, and Agudelo are injured, while both Colley and Amian are major doubts. Daniele Verde is pushing for a start after finding the net in the defeat to Sampdoria.
The Rossoblu, on the other hand, suffered a 3-2 loss to Torino in their last league match. Genoa are still sitting in the relegation zone, but they are surely capable of matching the out-of-sorts hosts. A close encounter is on the cards at “Alberto Pico”, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. The likes of Cassata, Maksimovic, Bani, Vanheusden, and Hernani miss the midweek game with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Luca Mora):
Luca Mora began his senior career at Castellarano (2007-2009) and in 2009 he moved to fellow lower-league club Crociati Noceto. Two years later he signed for Pro Patria and after making 32 appearances in the league for the club, Mora joined Alessandria.
The Italian midfielder, who was born in Parma on May 10, 1988, quickly established himself as a first team regular at the club and you should know that he scored six goals in 86 appearances in the league for L’ Orso. In 2015 he moved to SPAL and he has been playing for the Biancazzurri ever since.
