Our prediction for this Serie A match:
After failing to spoil Milan’s party at Stadio San Siro, Venezia will look to get back on course in the Serie A when they face Genoa on Matchday 5. I Lagunari do not seem to be competitive at this level and given Hans Caviglia’s suspension, home win should not be considered. Forward Steinn Bjarkason remains on the sidelines with injury as well. The Rossoblu, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team beating Monza 1-0, losing to Verona 2-0, while sharing the spoils with AS Roma.
As Venezia experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 4-0 loss to Milan at the weekend, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. Both Vitinha and Ruslan Malinovsky are pushing for a start for the visitors, while the likes of Alessandro Zanoli, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, and Mattia Bani are out of contention through injuries.
