Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Verona and Roma take on each other at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in what is expected to be an interesting Serie A game. The Mastini have been struggling in the first half of the season, and given their six-game losing run in the Italian top flight, home win should not be considered. Roberto Piccoli limped off with injury in the last league match, with fellow forward Yayah Kallon likely to step up. All Ivan Ilic, Darko Lazovic, Ajdin Hrustic, and Diego Coppola are out of contention with injuries for the home side.
The capital club, on the other hand, failed to extend their winning run to four games at the weekend, with the team losing the Serie A derby against Napoli. Jose Mourinho’s troops, though, will not have a better chance than this to get back on course, and we predict that they will take advantage of Verona’s shaky defence. All Paulo Dybala, Zeki Celik, and Georginio Wijnaldum are likely to miss the game with injuries.

Roma’s fiercest rivals are Lazio and it has to be noted that both capital clubs play their home games at Stadio Olimpico. The colour of Roma’s shirts is imperial purple with a golden yellow trim. A number of top-class footballers were part of Roma in the past, but Francesco Totti is undisputedly the club’s biggest legend. The Prince of Rom made his 601 appearances for Roma on 14 May, 2016 when the Giallorossi recorded a 3-1 win over Milan at Stadio San Siro.
