Malaysia are three points behind top two, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for the home team. However, home win should not be considered as the Malayan Tigers experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to United Arab Emirates.
Vietnam, on the other hand, aim to build on a 4-0 win over Indonesia.
