Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
Mali will look to cement top position in Group E when they take on Uganda in Agadir on Sunday afternoon. The Malians qualified for the 2022 World Cup finals thanks to a 3-0 win over Rwanda, but, no doubt, they want to put icing on the cake on a very successful qualifying campaign. The Group E leaders have yet to concede in the process, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Sunday’s clash.
Nantes attacker Kalifa Coulibaly is pushing for a start after finding the net in a 3-0 crushing of Rwanda. Uganda, on the other hand, missed out on a place at the next year’s showpiece tournament, and seeing that they are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Agadir, home win should be considered. Ashod striker Fahad Bayo is widely expected to lead the line for the Cranes.
