Rotherham
Preston will be looking to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday when they host Rotherham United at their Deepdale on Matchday 28. The Lilywhites have been struggling in front of goal of late, with the team failing to find the net in the previous two league fixtures. Preston produce much better showings at home than on the travels, and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their fifth home win of the season.
The Millers, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Swansea City, with the team rolling over Derby County 3-0 in their last league match. Rotherham United have been in a fine form in 2021, but seeing that Preston are eager to keep their playoffs hopes alive, home win should be considered. The likes of Bauer, Moult, and Rudd are injured for the hosts, while Mattock, Ogbene, and Sadlier are out of contention for the visiting team.

Alan Browne is a Republic of Ireland international who plays for Preston North End as a central midfielder. Born in Cork on April 15, 1999, Browne began his youth career at Ringmahon Rangers, but he soon moved to his hometown club Cork City.
Despite being part of the Cork City senior team, he did not enjoy first-team football with the Rebel Army. On January 1, 2014 Alan Browne signed a deal with Preston North End in the League One and one year later he helped the Lilywhites beat Preston in the play-off final and secure promotion to the Championship.
The 179-cm-tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Preston and it has to be noted that he played for the Ireland national team in the past as well. Alan Browne made his Republic of Ireland debut on February 6, 2017 in a friendly game against Mexico.
