Northampton Town will be aiming to cement their spot in top six when they take on Blackpool on Saturday afternoon. The Cobblers are fighting hard to secure the League One survival, and seeing that they are four points behind the safe zone, they are likely to go all-out attack against Blackpool. Northampton have been impressive in front of goal of late, and we are positive that they will find the net in Saturday’s clash.
The Seasiders, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Sunderland, and they managed to get one thanks to Sullay Kakai’s goal. Blackpool moved one step closer to securing their place in the playoffs, but seeing that all Charlton, Oxford, and Portsmouth are breathing down their neck, we are positive that the visitors will go for a win in the penultimate game of the season. Taking everything into account, a high-scoring affair is on the cards at Sixfields Stadium.

Joseph Mills is an Aston Villa product who plays for Northampton Town in the League One. Mills moved to Southampton in 2006, and he continued playing for the Saints at senior level. After ending his loan spells with Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers, the pacey left-back joined Reading in 2011, but he made no more than 15 appearances for the Royals in the league.
After his short spell with Burnley, Joseph Mills moved to Oldham Athletic, and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Perth Glory, Shrewsbury Town, and Forest Green Rovers as well before moving to Northampton Town.
Mills was born in Swindon, England on October 30, 1989, and he wears the No. 23 shirt with the Cobblers. His primary position is left-back, but coaches use him as a left midfielder as well. He has a contract with Northampton Town which should expire in June 2022.

Blackpool FC are a professional English club based in Blackpool, Lancashire. Considering that Blackpool is a seaside town, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Seasiders. Founded back in 1887, the club play their home matches at Bloomfield Road, which can hold up to 17,338 spectators. In the 2009/2010 season Blackpool secured promotion to the Premier League, but they were not competitive at this level, suffering relegation to the Championship the following season.
The club’s biggest success, though, came in 1953 when they defeated Bolton Wanderers 4-3 in the FA Cup final. Blackpool are well known for their orange shirts, but the dominant colour of their away kit is white. Preston are considered the club’s biggest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the West Lancashire derby.
