Preston
Bolton and Preston take on each other at the County Ground in what is expected to be an interesting pre-season friendly. Following back-to-back wins over Longridge and Atherton, the Trotters shared the spoils with FC United in their last warm-up game, and, no doubt, they are eager to return to winning ways. Experienced attacker Nathan Delfouneso, who scored a brace in the triumph over Atherton, will be one of the men to watch in the newly-promoted League One team.
The Lilywhites, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Celtic, where Benjamin Whiteman scored a late winner from the penalty spot. Despite the triumph, boss Frankie McAvoy is likely to test as many players as possible for the season opener against Hull City, with all Bauer, Rafferty, Riis, Brown, van den Berg, Maguire, and Earl pushing for a start. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards, and we are tempted to put our money on draw.

Born in Perth, Australia on October 13, 1995, Gethin Jones is a professional footballer who plays for Carlisle United in the League Two as a defender. Jones is a product of the Wrexham football school, but he played for Everton at youth level as well.
The pacey right-back made only one appearance for the Toffees as he played against Krasnodar in the Europa League 2013/2014 season. Gethin Jones played for the likes of Plymouth Argyle (loan), Barnsley (loan), Fleetwood Town, and Mansfield Town (loan) as well before joining his current club Carlisle United. Jones is eligible to play for Australia and Wales despite playing for the Wales U17, U19, and U21 teams in the past.
He made his League Two debut with Carlisle United in a 3-2 win over Stevenage on September 14, 2019. Jones’ main position is right-back, but he is used as both right midfielder and left-back as well. His preferred foot is right.

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964. Preston’s main rivals are Blackpool and the two teams square off against each other in the West Lancashire derby. In their first ever meeting in the West Lancashire derby (1901) Preston recorded a 4-1 win over Blackpool.
Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are considered Preston’s big rivals as well. The colour of Preston’s shirts is white and they wear dark blue shorts.
