Tranmere
County Ground will host Tuesday’s football game between Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers, the two teams who sit in the top half of the table ahead of Matchday 3. Swindon kicked off the new League Two campaign with a 3-1 win at Scunthorpe, but Carlisle United proved to be a big catch for the Robins (1-2) at the weekend. Since talented defender Kaine Kesler misses the midweek game through suspension, we are not tempted to put our money on the hosts.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, head into the match following a goalless draw with Port Vale. Tranmere are eyeing their second win of the season, but beating Swindon Town at County Ground is easier said than done. The 183-cm tall left-back played for the likes of Standard Liege, Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Rotherham United (loan), Ipswich Town (loan), and Barnsley as well before signing a deal with Swindon Town in 2019 as a free player.
He made his Swindon Town debut in the League Two in a 2-0 win at Scunthorpe United on August 3, 2019.
