Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Saturday’s football game at Red Bull Arena pits together Leipzig and Arminia Bielefeld, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the remainder of the season. Leipzig are eyeing a place in the Champions League, while Arminia Bielefeld are desperate to secure yet another Bundesliga survival. The Red Bulls head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Augsburg, but the fact that they outclassed Borussia M’gladbach 4-1 in their last home fixture is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Arminia.
Even though all Laimer, Klostermann, Haidara, Olmo, Poulsen, Halstenberg, and Saracchi continue to miss out with injuries, home win should be considered. Die Arminien, on the other hand, did well to beat Bochum 2-0 at home ground, but given their anything but good away record, we are tempted to put our money on the Red Bulls this time out. Defender Barrett Laursen should be the only absentee in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Yussuf Poulsen):
Yussuf Poulsen is a Danish footballer who started his youth career at BK Skjold. At the age of 14 he joined Lyngby and he made his debut for the first team on 4 December, 2011. He came as a substitute in a match against Horsens after 84 minutes, substituting Mathias Tauber. However, he made no more than five league appearances for Lyngby in the 2011/2012 season.
Despite the fact that Lyngby dropped to Denmark 1st Division, Poulsen did not leave the club in the summer transfer window and it has to be noted that he made 30 appearances for the Vikings in the 2012/2013 campaign. On 4 July, 2013 he signed a deal with Leipzig and he has been playing for the German outfit ever since.
The 193-cm-tall attacker is capable of playing as both right and left winger. Poulsen’s father is Tanzanian, but he decided to represent the Danish national team. He made his debut for the senior team against Albania on 11 October, 2014. Poulsen scored his first ever goal for Denmark in a 2-0 win over Serbia on June 13, 2015.
Highlighted Team (Arminia Bielefeld):
Arminia Bielefeld is a German club founded on May 3, 1905. Die Arminen play home games at Bielefelder Alm. The venue was built in 1926, and it can hold up to 26,515 spectators. Arminia Bielefeld have yet to win the Bundesliga trophy, but they did well to lift the West German Cup title on two occasions (1966, 1974).
Back in 1922 they won the Western German football championship, with the team repeating the success the following year. Arminia Bielefeld wear dark blue shirts when playing at home ground, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey. In the 2019/20 season Arminia returned to the Bundesliga, where they undisputedly belong.
Bruno Labbadia is considered one of the most famous footballers who played for the club. The ex Bayern Munchen attacker scored 50 goals in 98 appearances in the league for Arminia Bielefeld. Labbadia has two caps for the German national team, and six for the West Germany U21.
