Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Walsall will look to put an end to their seven-game losing run when they take on promotion-chasing Tranmere on Matchday 32. The Saddlers have been flying low of late, and, as a result, they dropped to the danger zone. Walsall are low on spirits ahead of the visit of Tranmere; therefore, we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from the match.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, are eyeing automatic promotion to the League One. Tranmere impressed in a 3-0 win over Swindon, and given Walsall’s dreadful losing run, anything but a routine away win would be a major surprise. A man to watch in the away team will be January signing Kane Hemmings, who scored a brace in the midweek triumph. In the first half of the season Tranmere defeated Walsall thanks to Callum McManaman’s goal.
Highlighted Player (Liam Feeney ):
Liam Feeney is an English footballer who plays for Tranmere Rovers as a midfielder. Born in Hammersmith, England on January 21, 1987, Feeney started his senior career at Hayes, and after scoring eight goals in 46 appearances for the club, he moved to Salisbury City in 2007.
The experienced footballer for several other English clubs as well, and, no doubt, Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth, and Bolton Wanderers are the most notable ones. Nowadays Liam Feeney plays for Tranmere Rovers in the League two on loan from Blackpool. His main position is right wing, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left winger as well.
Feeney made his League Two debut with Tranmere in a 3-0 loss to Cheltenham Town on September 19, 2020. His preferred foot is right, and he has a contract with the Whites until May 2021. The experienced winger has a dual citizenship (England/Jamaica).
Highlighted Team (Tranmere):
Based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Tranmere Rovers are a professional club that compete in the League One. Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
Tranmere fans see Bolton Wanderers as the club’s main rivals, but they have built a small rivalry with Chester City and Everton as well. The Prenton Park outfit did well to make it to the League Cup final in the 1993/1994 season, but Aston Villa proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
