Leicester City and Rennes go head to head at King Power Stadium in what is expected to be an interesting Conference League game. Leicester faced no difficulties in the double-header with Randers, but they will have a big fish to fry in the upcoming two-legged tie. Despite failing to find the net in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Leeds United, Jamie Vardy should continue to lead the line for the hosts.
All Maddison, Evans, Castagne, Fofana, and Justin continue to miss out with injuries. Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Angers. Rennes are on a three-game winning run in the Ligue 1, but seeing that Leicester City are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the visitors will return to France empty-handed. The likes of Bade, Gelin, Majer, Salin, Sulemana, and Ugochukwu should miss out with injuries for the away team.

Vardy went on to score his first two goals for the Three Lions in March 2016 friendlies, with his back-heel goal against Germany in Berlin seeing him instantly become a fans’ favourite.
Over the years, Vardy has earned a reputation as a striker who never gives up and can be a real menace for opposition defenders, but his excellent goalscoring record and good link-up play are enough to suggest he can be described as a mix of old-style pacey forwards and modern strikers.
