Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Villarreal will look to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Real Betis when they take on Sevilla in the La Liga derby. The Yellow Submarine have been having their ups and downs of late, but they are still seen as favourites to beat Sevilla, who made a slow start to the season. All Gerard Moreno, Juan Foyth, and Alberto Moreno are sidelined with injuries for the home team, while Francis Coquelin is pushing for his second start of the season.
Los Sevillanos, on the other hand, finally gave fans some cheer, with the team beating Espanyol 3-2 on the road at the weekend. Julen Lopetegui’s men have regained a much-needed confidence, but keep in mind that important attacker Erik Lamela misses Sunday’s clash through suspension. Both Teixeira Marcao and Jesus Corona are out of contention with injuries. Anyhow, home win should be considered as we predict that Lamela will be sorely missed in the Primera Division derby.
