Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Following a shocking 3-2 loss to Cambridge United, Wycombe will look to get back on course when they face Morecambe in the League One round 17. The Chairboys failed to extend their winning run to four games on Tuesday evening, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat the Shrimps on home soil. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be experienced attacker Sam Vokes, who scored his third goal of the season in the midweek defeat.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Cheltenham, but given their anything but good away record in the 2022/2023 season (1-3-4), we predict that the hosts will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s showdown. Courtney Duffus remains in the recovery room, while Max Melbourne is a major doubt.
