Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Manchester United will look to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Bournemouth in the first game of the year. The Red Devils have been showing signs of improvement of late, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to represent England in the Champions League next term. Marcus Rashford, who scored the winner at Wolverhampton, should be recalled to the starting XI, while Tuesday’s game comes too early for Sancho.
There are no fresh injury worries in the home team. The Cherries, on the other hand, suffered yet another dip in form, with the team losing to both Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the last two league matches. Bournemouth have been struggling in front of goal of late, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Man Utd’s party at Old Trafford. Both Tavernier and Stanislas are major doubts, while Brooks and Neto remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Bruno Fernandes):
Bruno Fernandes is a Portuguese footballer who used to play for Novara before joining Udinese in a co-ownership deal in the summer of 2013. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first goal for the club in a 3-3 draw with Napoli on 7 December, 2013.
Three years later he signed a deal with Sampdoria for a fee of €7 million. Fernandes moved to Sampdoria in order to replace Roberto who reinforced Villarreal. Soriano He played 33 games for the Zebrette in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign, scoring three goals for the club, while providing four assists for his teammates.
Fernandes is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a secondary striker as well. He was born in Maia, Portugal on 8 September, 1994 and he began his youth career at Infesta. Fernandes has seven caps for Portugal U21 team and he has played 4 matches for the U23 team.
Highlighted Team (Bournemouth):
Bournemouth are a professional football club that was formed back in 1890. The Cherries secured promotion to the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season, with the team making it to the English top flight for the first time ever.
Bournemouth play their home games at Dean Court and the capacity of the stadium is 11,469.
The Cherries enjoyed a very successful season on their Premier League debut, with the team beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the national championship. Glenn Murray scored the winner for Bournemouth in the 1-0 win over the capital club at Stamford Bridge and that is probably the greatest victory in the club’s history.
Bournemouth have been participating in the FA Cup since 1913, but they have yet to win the trophy in the prestigious competition. It has to be noted that the club’s original name Boscombe Athletic Football Club was changed to Bournemouth back in 1923 as the club owners wanted the Cherries to be more representative of the district.
