Gillingham play host to Crawley Town at their Priestfield Stadium in the League Two round 38. The Gills failed to impress in the first half of the season, but they have been showing signs of improvement of late. Following back-to-back wins over Hartlepool and Colchester, Gillingham played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with promotion-chasing Swindon at the weekend, but that did not help them escape the relegation zone. The hosts are desperate to move away from bottom two, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Crawley.
With no fresh injury worries to report, Neil Harris is unlikely to make changes to the team that shared the spoils with the Robins. Meanwhile, the Red Devils recorded a morale-boosting win over Salford City (3-2) at the weekend, but given their poor away record (0-6-6), we do not believe that they are capable of collecting more than one point from Saturday’s showdown. It has to be noted that the club chiefs signed the likes of Kellan Gordon, Jack Roles, Ryan Schofield, and Jack Spong in the January transfer window.

After his loan spells with Milton Keynes Dons, Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle, O’Keefe moved to Gillingham at the end of the 2018/2019 season. He made his League One debut with the club on August 3, 2019 in a 1-1 draw with Doncaster Rovers. His main position is central midfield, but he is used as both defensive and attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
