Lyon
Troyes will look to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to Toulouse when they face Olympique Lyon in the Ligue 1 round 22. Patrick Kisnorbo’s troops aim to escape the danger zone, but given their shaky defence, we do not believe that home win should be considered. Mama Balde limped off with injury in the midweek defeat, with Alexis Tibidi likely to step up, whereas both Florian Tardieu and Karim Azamoum remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Les Gones, on the other hand, failed to turn their dominance into victory in a goalless draw with Brest, with the team remaining in the middle of the table. Lyon are desperate to keep their Europa League hopes alive, and seeing that Troyes have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. Laurent Blanc should have a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s clash.

Damien Da Silva is a French footballer of Portuguese descent. Da Silva has a dual citizenship, but he represented France at youth level, making two appearances for the U19 team. Speaking of his club career, the 183-cm-tall defender played for Niort (2006-2009) before joining Chateauroux in 2009.
After making only eight appearances for the club Damien Da Silva joined Rouen in 2011 and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Stade Robert Diochon outfit. He played 85 games for Rouen and in 2013 he signed a contract with Ligue 2 side Clermont. Da Silva, though, was hungry for a top-flight football and, as a result, he left the club at the end of the 2013/2014 season, signing a contract with Caen.
He has been playing for SMC ever since and it has to be noted that he made 36 appearances for the club in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. The Caen centre-back was born in Talence on May 17, 1988 and his preferred foot is right.

Commonly referred to as Lyon, Olympique Lyonnais is the French club which play their games at the Parc Olimpique Lyonnais with a capacity just a pinch short of 60,000. Lyon is one of the most popular clubs in France with a vast fan base on par with Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille.
The club achieved moderate success during the 1960s and 1970s led by the likes of Bernard Lacombe and Jean Djorkaeff, while the golden era of the French side came at the start of the new millennium when Lyon began to achieve greater success both in France and on the international level.
It was not until 2002 that Lyon won their first ever Ligue 1 title which sparked an ongoing national record-breaking streak of seven successive titles. During that time Lyon were regular participants of the UEFA Champions League. The French club reached quarter-finals on two occasions, while they even played in the semi-finals in the 2009-10 season.
