Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Sunday’s football game between St Johnstone and Celtic will bring down the curtain on day 25 of the 2022/2023 Premiership campaign. The Saints desperately needed a win against Motherwell, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their six-game losing run, and, no doubt, the triumph helped them revive their Championship Group hopes. Barring any fresh injury worries, Callum Davidson is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Well in midweek.
The league leaders, on the other hand, are on a four-match winning run in the Scottish top flight, and seeing that St Johnstone suit Celtic, away triumph should be considered. It has to be noted that the Hoops defeated the Saints in each of their last eight meetings in all competitions. Ange Postecoglou should have a full squad to choose from as defender Anthony Ralston has overcome his injury.
