Real Valladolid play host to Osasuna at their Estadio Jose Zorrilla on day 23 of the 2022/2023 La Liga campaign. La Pucela have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team beating both Valencia and Real Sociedad in the last two league matches, and they must be high on spirits ahead of the visit of Osasuna. January signing Cyle Larin, who scored the winner in San Sebastian, is widely expected to return to start against los Rojillos, whilst experienced midfielder Roque Mesa is back from suspension.
Meanwhile, the visitors aim to put an end to their three-game winless run, but given Valladolid’s impressive display against La Real, home win should be considered. To make things even worse for the visitors, Morocco international Abde Ezzalzouli is banned for the match. In their last meeting at the venue Valladolid defeated Osasuna 3-2.

Jordi Masip is yet another La Masia product. Masip began his youth career at Mercantil, but in 2004 he joined the famous Barcelona football academy. The 180-cm-tall goalkeeper was struggling to establish himself as a first-team regular in Barcelona at senior level, but he played for Barca B in Segunda Division from 2008 to 2014.
After making 79 appearances for Barcelona B, Jordi Masip finally made his senior debut for the Catalan giants on December 16, 2014 in a 8-1 win over Huesca. The two teams faced in Copa del Rey and it has to be noted that Masip made his La liga debut for Barca in a 2-2 draw with Deportivo La Coruna in May, 2014.
In 2017 the Spanish shot-stopper born in Sabadell signed a three-year deal with Real Valladolid. Masip quickly established himself as a first-team regular at La Pucela and you should know that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets in 42 appearances for the club in the 2017/2018 Segunda Division campaign.

Osasuna are a Basque football team that plays in Spanish La Liga. Los Rojillos are based in Pamplona and and the club were founded in 1920. Estadio El Sadar has been the home of Osasuna since 1967 and the capacity of the stadium is 19,800.
The colour of Osasuna’s home kit is red, while the team’s shorts are navy blue. Los Rojillos dropped to the Segunda Division at the end of the 2013/2014 La Liga campaign, but they did not spend too many time in the Spanish second tier. The club returned to the elite division in 2016 after beating Girona in the play-offs.
