Nantes and Rennes square off against each other at Stade de la Beaujoire in what is expected an interesting Ligue 1 game. Les Canaris failed to spoil Lens’ party at Stade Bollaert-Delelis, but despite the defeat, they are safe for now. All Castelletto, Ganago, and Merlin are sidelined with injuries, while important defender Nicolas Pallois faces race against the clock to be fit for the match.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Clermont. Both Rennes and Nantes were in action in the Europa League in midweek, but seeing that les Rouges et Noirs have strength in depth, away win should be considered. As for the visiting team, all Hamari Traore, Lorenz Assignon, Xeka, and Martin Terrier are out of contention through injuries. In the first half of the season Rennes rolled over Nantes 3-0.

Alban Lafont is a French goalkeeper who plays for Ligue 1 side Toulouse. Born in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, Lafont joined AS Lattoise youth school at the age of nine and he stayed at the academy until 2014 when he moved to Toulouse.
The 193-cm-tall goalkeeper has established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Toulouse and it has to be noted that he made 36 appearances for the club in the 2016/2017 season, keeping 10 clean sheets in the process. Due to his dual citizenship, Alban Lafont is eligible to represent both Burkina Faso and France on international stage, but he has yet to play for the African team.
Alban Lafont represented les Tricolores at youth level and, no doubt, there is a bright future ahead of the talented shoot-stopper who was born on January 23, 1999. The rising star has a contract with Toulouse which expires on June 30, 2020.

Stade Rennais Football Club or simply Rennes is a French football club which was founded on March 10, 1901. The club is one of the founding members of the French Ligue 1 and they are nicknamed Les Rouges et Noirs. Roazhon Park is the club’s home ground and the venue can hold 29.778 people. Rennes have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but they won Coupe de France title on two occasions (1964/1965, 1970/1971).
