Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Boavista and Arouca face each other in Porto in the opening game of round 23. The Black and Whites proved their worth in a 3-1 win over Pacos Ferreira, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to represent Portugal in European competitions next term. Venezuela forward Adalberto Penaranda remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Arouca, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Casa Pia, but given their ups and downs on the road, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing more than one point from Friday’s match. As for the visiting team, Spanish forward Rafa Mujica is pushing for a start after scoring a brace at the weekend, while midfielder Vitinho remains in the recovery room.
