The Wham Stadium will host Tuesday’s football game between Accrington and Peterborough, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. Accrington are desperate to secure yet another League One survival, but they must be low on confidence following back-to-back losses to Sheffield Wednesday (0-3) and Fleetwood (2-5). Considering that the Accy Stanley have been struggling at the back of late, home win should not be considered.
Liam Coyle is banned for the match, with Mo Sangare likely to step up, while both Joe Williams and Seamus Conneely are sidelined with injuries. The Posh, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-0 loss to Cambridge United. Peterborough are eager to stay in the playoffs berth, and we predict that they will take advantage of Accrington’s shaky defence. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Jonson Clarke Harris):
The Leicester born striker started his career at Coventry City, joining their youth academy at the age of 15. Harris, who holds both the English and Jamaican citizenship, chose to represent the former but is yet to feature for any of England's international levels. He made his first professional debut on the 10th of August 2010, in a 2-0 League Cup loss to Morecambe, a feature that made him the youngest player to ever appear for Coventry.
After successive loan moves where he made little impact, Harris left the Sky Blues to join Oldham Athletic in May 2013 on a year-long contract. His excellence earned him the Young Player of the Season award and a high profile move to Rotherham United at the end of the season in a deal worth 350,000 euros. After several inconsistent performances, Harris left the Millers.
He then went on to play for MK Dons and Doncaster on loan before re-joining Coventry for a second spell where-in he helped the club in promoting to League One. Born on the 21st of July 1994, the 25-year-old is known for his physicality and hold-up play and currently plies his trade for Bristol, whom he joined at the start of 2019.

Founded back in 1891 and reformed in 1968, Accrington Stanley are an English football club that compete in the League One. The original team competed in the Football League from 1921 to 1962, spending the last four seasons in Lancashire Combination.
The Accy are well known for their red home kit, whilst they wear sky blue shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The League One side play their home games at Crown Ground, the stadium which can hold up to 5,450 spectators (3,100 seated). Accrington have been playing at Crown Ground since 1970.
Listed as the all-time favourite player amongst fans, Chris Grimshaw is one of the most famous Accrington Stanley footballers. However, George Stewart is the team’s top scorer, netting 136 goals in total from 1954 to 1958. It has to be noted that the Accy have yet to represent England in European competitions.
