Our prediction for this Championship match:
After surviving Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening, Leeds United will look to stay in the playoffs berth when they take on Bristol City on Saturday afternoon. The Whites have been struggling to find their best form, but the bookies still see them as hot favourites to beat the Robins in front of home fans. Both Patrick Bamford and Daniel James are pushing for a start at the duo came off the bench in the midweek triumph, while all Wilfried Gnonto, Djed Spence, Junior Firpo, and Stuart Dallas are out of contention with injuries.
The Robins, on the other hand, did well to beat Rotherham United 2-1 on the road, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Leeds United, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. All George Tanner, Zak Vyner, Rob Atkinson, and Ayman Benarous are out of contention with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Nahki Wells):
Born on June 1, 1990 in Hamilton, Bermuda, Nahki Wells is a 170-cm-tall attacker who plays for the Bermuda national team. Wells is a product of Dandy Town Hornets youth academy and he continued playing for the Bermudan side at senior level.
The experienced striker played for the likes of Bermuda Hogges, Eccleshill United and Carlisle United before joining Bradford City in 2011. After spending three seasons at Valley Parade, Nahki Wells signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Huddersfield Town in the winter of 2014. In 2017 he moved to Burnley, but he played for Queens Park Rangers as a loan footballer in the 2018/2019 season.
Speaking of his international career, Wells made his debut for the Bermuda national team in 2007. He scored his first ever goal for Bermuda in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago. The Burnley man will represent the Gombey Warriors at the 2019 Gold Cup.
Highlighted Team (Leeds United):
Leeds United is one of the clubs that won the FA Cup. The Whites outplayed Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition back in 1972, but they clinched the League Cup trophy as well. Leeds United faced the Gunners in the 1967/1968 League Cup final and it has to be noted that Terry Cooper scored the winner for the Whites.
Leeds play their home games at Elland Road and the capacity of the stadium is 37,914. The club was founded in 1919 and they have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies ever since (1968/1969, 1973/1974, 1991/1992). Leeds United made it to the Champions League final in 1975, but they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the title clash.
The Whites were impressive under David O’Leary. The likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Lee Bowyer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Ian Harte were part of the Elland Road outfit back then and they did well to reach the semis of the Champions League in 2001.
