Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Qarabag and Ajax square off against each other at Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in what is expected to be an interesting Europa League game. Qarabag made a slow start to their EL campaign, losing to both Tottenham and Malmo and they face yet another tough challenge against Ajax. Goalkeeper Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev remains in the recovery room, while fellow shot-stopper Amin Ramazanov is a major doubt.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, outclassed Besiktas 4-0 in their opener, while sharing the spoils with Slavia Prague in their second group game. As Ajax have been showing signs of improvement in the Eredivisie as well, beating Heracles 4-3 at the weekend, away win should be considered. Talented defender Youri Baas is banned for the visitors, while Steven Berghuis remains on the sidelines with injury. Wout Weghorst is pushing for a start after scoring a brace as a substitute at the weekend.
