Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
Estadio Municipal Antonio Naranjo will be packed when UD San Pedro and Celta Vigo lock horns in the Copa del Rey round 1. UD San Pedro did well to beat Ceute 6 de Junio 4-2 in their opener and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Kiko Carmona, who scored from the penalty spot last time out.
Os Celeste, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Real Madrid and Leganes. As Celta Vigo will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways, we are tempted to bet on Claudio Giraldez’s men. All Swedberg, Gonzalez, Douvikas, and Damian Rodriguez should be recalled to the starting XI, while veteran Iago Aspas should be given a rest. Both Josep Aidoo and Jailson remain on the sidelines with injuries.
