Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Fulham will look to kickstart their FA Cup campaign in style when they take on Watford at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers scored a late goal from the penalty spot to save one point against Ipswich Town, but they are seen as hot favourites to beat the Hornets in London. All Andreas Pereira, Emile Smith Rowe, Rodrigo Muniz, and Adama Traore are in line for a spot in the starting XI, while Harrison Reed and Sander Berge are major doubts.
Tom Cleverley’s men, on the other hand, have been struggling in festive fixtures and given their three-game losing run in the Championship, home win should definitely be considered. Both Tom Dele-Bashiru and Kevin Keben are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team. In their last meeting in the FA Cup, back in 2005, Fulham recorded a routine 2-0 win over Watford, which goes in favour of our earlier prediction.
