There will be fireworks when Cercle Brugge and Club Brugge face each other in the local derby at Jan Breydel Stadion. Cercle Brugge dropped a two-point advantage in a 3-2 loss to Royale Union SG, but their form in December is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Both Leonardo Lopes and Jesper Daland are banned for the match, while all Sebastien Bruzzese, Waldo Rubio, Senna Miangue, and Miguel Van Damme are sidelined with injuries.
The title holders, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Anderlecht in their last league match.
