Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
After kicking off the new Jupiler League campaign with a 3-0 win over Oostende, Charleroi shared the spoils with the likes of St. Truiden, Leuven, Antwerp, and Waregem. The Black and Whites aim to extend their unbeaten run to six games, and given Beerschot’s poor start to the season, it is no wonder the hosts are seen as favourites to win Saturday’s match.
Midfielder Marco Ilaimaharitra, who missed the Waregem game through illness, is a major doubt, while both Willems and Tschiend are likely to miss the game with injuries. The visitors, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom of the standings, with the team collecting only one point in total from the first five games of the season. Since the rock-bottom side have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Defender Frederic Frans is banned for the visitors.
