Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Stade du Pays de Charleroi will host Saturday’s football game between Charleroi and Leuven, the two teams who face each other at the start of the new Jupiler League campaign. Charleroi were having their ups and downs in preseason and they head into the opener following a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano. The likes of Youssouph Badji, Zan Rogelj, Antoine Bernier, and Oday Dabbagh have joined the club in the summer transfer window, to name just a few, while Nauris Petkevicius, Joris Kayembe, and Ali Gholizadeh are no longer part of the team.
Marc Brys’ men, on the other hand, were struggling at the back in warm-up games, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the home side. New signing Konan N’Dri is likely to make his Eupen debut against Charleroi, as well as centre-back Raz Shlomo, while the likes of Casper De Norre and Louis Patris left the club earlier this summer.
