Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
After suffering a heart-breaking loss to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League third qualifying round, first leg, Genk will be looking to give fans some cheer when they take on Kortrijk at Guldensporen Stadion. De Smurfen are eager to record their first win of the season, but keep in mind that they will be with one eye on the return leg against Shakhtar. A man to watch in the away team will be Paul Onuachu, who found the net in the midweek Champions League qualifier, while Carlos Cuesta should play some part in Saturday’s game after overcoming his injury.
Kortrijk, on the other hand, aim to keep their 100% record intact as they defeated the likes of Seraing and Antwerp at the start of the season. Since Genk have been struggling at the back of late, a high-scoring affair is on the cards at Guldensporen Stadion. Gambia attacker Muhammed Badammosi, who limped off with injury at the weekend, is unlikely to feature for the hosts.
