Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
La Louviere will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 loss at Mechelen when they welcome title-chasing Club Brugge to their Stade du Tivoli. The newcomers showed some spirit in attack but once again struggled to stay compact defensively, which has been the main issue for them since the start of the campaign. With no fresh injury worries, the hosts can count on their strongest line-up, while forward Joel Ito is pushing hard for a place in the starting XI as they search for more cutting edge up front.
Club Brugge, meanwhile, come into the clash full of confidence after destroying Rangers 9-1 on aggregate in the Champions League qualifiers. Nicky Hayen’s troops are determined to bring the Jupiler League trophy back to Jan Breydelstadion, and the attacking trio of Forbs, Tzolis, and new signing Mamadou Diakhon gives them an extra spark in the final third. Considering La Louviere’s shaky defence and Brugge’s attacking potential, there is a big value in betting on the title hopefuls.
