Greuther Furth and Holstein Kiel square off against each other at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer in the closing match of the 2. Bundesliga round 3. The Cloverleaves aim to build on the DFB Pokal win over Lohne, but they will have a big fish to fry against a solid Kiel side. As all Banse, John, Keller, Reich, and Schlieck are out of contention for the home side, we are not tempted to place our bets on Thomas Kleine’s troops.
Marcel Rapp’s troops, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Paderborn and Arminia Bielefeld. As both Holstein Kiel and Greuther Furth will go for a win in Sunday’s showdown, we predict goals on both ends.
