Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
All eyes will be on Heinz von Heiden Arena when Hannover and Kaiserslautern face each other in the 2. Bundesliga derby. Die Roten were having their ups and downs before the World Cup break, with the team losing to Darmstadt, beating Dusseldorf, while sharing the spoils with Holstein Kiel. Hannover aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, but they face a difficult task against the Red Devils. Stefan Leitl should have a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s showdown.
Kaiserslautern, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win. The visitors want to stay in the race for promotion, and seeing that they will go for a win as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Both Klement and Kraus are pushing for a start after the duo got their names on the scoresheet in a 2-1 win over Dusseldorf. Midfielder Hikmet Ciftci remains in the recovery room, while forward Marlon Ritter is a major doubt.
