Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
High-flying Heidenheim will look to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Magdeburg on Matchday 39. Heidenheim have been producing excellent displays of late and it is no wonder the bookies see them as hot favourites to beat Magdeburg on home soil. The likes of Norman Theuerkauf, Adrian Beck, and Elidon Qenaj should be the only absentees in the home team.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Braunschweig and HSV. Magdeburg, though, have little to play for in the season finale, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the home side. To make things even worse for the visiting side, their injury list is pretty long, including the likes of Krempicki, Piccini, Franzke, Rieckmann, Muller, Kath, Schuler, and Halbouni. There are no suspended players in the visiting side.
