Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Hertha will try to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Schalke 04 when they welcome Karlsruher to their Olympiastadion on Sunday afternoon. The capital club had no more than three shots on target in the opening match of the season, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Defender Linus Gechter is back from suspension, while summer signing Sebastian Gronning is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute against die Knappen.
Karlsruher, on the other hand, did well to beat Preussen Munster in their opener, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Sunday’s clash. Over the years Hertha have turned their Olympiastadion into a real fortress and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. Both Duhring and Sihlaroglu are expected to miss out with injuries for the away team.
