Paderborn will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Wehen when they take on Magdeburg in the 2. Bundesliga round 7. Paderborn have yet to find their best form, but, no doubt, the weekend defeat gave them a confidence boost. Maximilian Rohr is a major doubt, while both Robert Leipertz and Filip Bilbija are out of contention with injuries.
Magdeburg, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 4-3 loss to Schalke where they dropped a two-goal advantage. A man to watch in the home team will be Silas Gnaka, who scored a brace at the weekend, while Daniel Heber misses out through suspension. Both Mo El Hankouri and Daniel Elfadil are sidelined with injuries, while Connor Krempicki is pushing for a start. Anyhow, the share of spoils is on the cards as Magdeburg are tough to beat at home.

Welcoming their rivals at Benteler-Arena, Paderborn are a German club that will compete in the Bundesliga in the 2019/2020 season. The club played their first ever match in the German top flight on August 24, 2019, with the team sharing the spoils with Mainz (2-2) in front of home fans.
