Nurnberg
Schalke will look to make amends for a 2-1 loss to St. Pauli when they take on Nurnberg in the 2. Bundesliga round 17. Die Knappen were producing excellent displays in October, but they have been having their ups and downs of late. Considering that key attacker Simon Terodde remains on the sidelined with injury, we are not tempted to put our money on the famous German club. Michael Langer and Salif Sane miss out with injuries as well.
The Bavarians, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Holstein Kiel. Nurnberg are only one point behind the playoffs berth, but beating Schalke in Gelsenkirchen is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at Veltins Arena, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Both Felix Lohkemper and Florian Hubner are injured for the visitors.

Amine Harit is a French-born Moroccan footballer, who plays for Schalke 04 in Bundesliga. Born in Pontoise (France) on June 18, 1997, Harit began his youth career in the suburbs of Paris, learning the football basics with Argentuil C.O.
After spending four years at Esperance Paris 19eme, the attacking midfielder moved to famous French club Paris Saint-Germain. However, he quickly returned to Esperance Paris 19eme and in 2011 he joined fellow French club Red Star. One year later he moved to Nantes, where he ended his youth career.
Amine Harit continued playing for les Canaris at senior level and after scoring one goal in 30 league games for Nantes, he signed a contract with Bundesliga side Schalke 04. Harit made two appearances for France U21 team, but he represents Morocco at senior level. The attacking midfielder, who is used as a winger as well, made his Morocco debut on October 7, 2017 against Gabon in the 2018 FIFA world cup qualifiers.

FC Nurnberg are a German club which was founded back in May, 1900. Der Ruhmreiche play their home games at Max-Morlock-Stadion, which was both built and opened in 1928. The stadium can hold up to 50,000 spectators, but it has to be noted that the capacity of the venue is 44,308 for international matches.
Nurnberg were the dominant force in German football in 1920s, with the team clinching five trophies during that period (1919/1920, 1920/1921, 1923/1924, 1924/1925, 1926/1927).
The Ruhmreiche won the national championships in 1936, 1948, 1960 and 1968 as well, with the team finishing the season as runners-up on three occasions (1934, 1937, 1962). Speaking of the club’s recent history, Nurnberg did well to win the German Cup in 2007, with the team beating Stuttgart in the title game. Speaking of the club’s European success, it has to be noted that the Bavarians played in the European Cup quarter-finals in 1962. Schalke are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
