Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Bayer Leverkusen will look to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund when they welcome Augsburg to their BayArena on Saturday afternoon. Gerardo Seoane’s troops did suffer the defeat at Signal-Iduna-Park, but it has to be noted that key attacker Patrik Schick missed two golden opportunities to score the equalizer. Robert Andrich limped off with injury on Matchday 1, with fellow midfielder Charles Aranguiz likely to step up. Floarin Wirtz is sidelined with injury as well.
The Bavarians, on the other hand, are seen as one of the main candidates to suffer relegation to 2. Bundesliga. Since Augsburg experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Freiburg, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. All Lukas Petkov, Niklas Dorsch, Lasse Gunther, Dikeni Salifou, and Tobias Strobl remain in the recovery room, while both Ruben Vargas and Reece Oxford are major doubts.
Highlighted Player (Charles Aránguiz):

After playing for the likes of Quilmes, Universidad de Chile and Internacional from 2010 to 2015, Charles Aranguiz signed a contract with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen on August 13, 2015. Speaking of his international career, Aranguiz has four caps for Chile U20 team and he made his debut for the senior squad in 2009.
The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was not selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, but he represented La Roja at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Charles Aranguiz was born in Puente Alto (Santiago) on April 17, 1989. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and right midfielder as well. Aranguiz’s preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Augsburg):
Augsburg are a German football club founded in Augsburg, Bavaria back in 1907. Die Fuggerstadter play in German Bundesliga and with 12,200 members they are regarded as the largest football club in Bavaria. Augsburg wear white shirts and they host their rivals at WWK ARENA.
The capacity of the stadium is 30,660 and it has been the home of Augsburg since 2009. Augsburg won the Schwaben Cup 13 times and it has to be noted that they were promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in 2011.
The club qualified for the Europa League 2015/2016 group stages and thanks to a 3-1 win over Partizan in Belgrade they booked their place in the last 32. However, Liverpool proved to be a big catch for the German outfit in the Europa League knockout stages.
Die Fuggerstadter’s main rivals are TSV 1860 Munich and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other.
