Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Following a goalless draw with Heidenheim, Borussia Dortmund will look to stay in the Champions League berth when they take on Freiburg on Friday evening. Simon Haller is on international duty with Ivory Coast, while all Jadon Sancho, Julien Duranville, and Felix Nmecha remain in the recovery room. Christian Streich’s troops, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Werder Bremen and Stuttgart.
Freiburg, though, have been struggling at the back of late, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. To make things even worse for the away team, talented midfielder Merlin Rohl is banned for the match, while all Matthias Ginter, Philipp Lienhart, Kenneth Schmidt, Max Rosenfelder, and Daniel-Kofi Kyeren continue to miss out through injuries. In the first half of the season Borussia Dortmund defeated Freiburg 4-2 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
