Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Following back-to-back draws with Bayern Munich and Borussia M’gladbach, Borussia Dortmund will look to return to winning ways in the Bundesliga when they face Hoffenheim in round 14. The Yellow Blacks are eager to stay in the title race and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Hoffenheim. The likes of Niklas Sule, Maximilian Beier, Filippo Mane, Waldemar Anton, and Julian Brandt remain in the recovery room, while pacey winger Karim Adeyemi should recover in time to face Christian Ilzer’s troops.
The visitors, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team struggling at the back in all competitions. Given their poor winless run on the road, we do not believe that Hoffenheim are capable of spoiling Borussia Dortmund’s party at Signal-Iduna-Park. Adding to their woes, their injury list is pretty long, including the likes of Bulter, Grillitsch, Promel, Bebou, Ole Becker, Kabak, and Tohumcu.
Highlighted Player (Pavel Kaderabek):
Pavel Kaderabek is a Czech Republic defender born on 25 April 1992, who has enjoyed a bright start to his professional career. Coming through the youth ranks at Sparta Prague and gaining some first team experience during a loan spell with Viktoria Zizkov, the right-sided defender was finally able to show what he is capable of during the 2012/2013 season and he didn’t need a lot of time to make the next step in his career.
After scoring impressive 10 goals in 76 league appearances for Sparta Prague, Kaderabek joined Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015, shortly after he had established himself as a starting right-back in the Czech Republic national team.
The talented footballer helped Repre make it to the Euro 2016 finals by starting 9 qualifying matches, once again proving his killer instinct by scoring two goals. Pavel Kaderabek looks set to become one of leading players of the new generation and a big club move may not be far away either.
Highlighted Team (Borussia Dortmund):
1909 by eighteen footballers from Dortmund. Die Schwarzgelben (The Black and Yellows) play their home games at Signal Iduna Park, but the stadium’s original name is Westfalenstadion. The capacity of Borussia’s home ground is 81,539 and it has to be noted that the stadium was opened in 1974. BVB have the highest average attendance in the world of football.
Borussia Dortmund have won eight Bundesliga trophies, while clinching the German Cup title three times.
However, the club’s biggest success came in 1997 when they outplayed Juventus in the Champions League final. Karl-Heinz Riedle scored a brace for BVB in the 3-1 win over Juve, with Lars Ricken finding the net in the title game as well. Borussia’s biggest rivals are Schalke 04 and the two teams square off against each other in the Revierderby.
