All eyes will be on Signal-Iduna-Park when Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig square off against each other in the Bundesliga derby. The Yellow-Blacks did well to hold Bayer Leverkusen to a draw at BayArena at the weekend and they are now on a quest to return to winning ways in the national championship. All Salih Ozcan, Ramy Bensebaini, and Niklas Sule are major doubts, while all Nico Schlotterbeck, Felix Nmecha, and Julien Duranville remain in the recovery room.
The Red Bulls, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Heidenheim. Leipzig are likely to stick to their attacking style of play and given Dortmund’s attacking potential at Signal-Iduna-Park, we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on both teams to score. The visitors will be without Dani Olmo, Timo Werner, and Willi Orban in Saturday’s derby.

Marco Reus is a German football player who was born on 31 May, 1989. The pacey attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, started his senior career at Rot Weiss Ahlen and it has to be noted that he made 43 league appearances for the club in lower leagues.
In 2009 he signed a four-year contract with Borussia M’gladbach and he scored his first Bundesliga goal against Mainz on 28 August, 2009. After impressing with the Fohlen in the 2011/2012 Bundesliga campaign, he joined Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season. He has been playing for the Millionaires ever since and he represents Germany on the international stage as well.
However, he was more than unfortunate to miss the 2014 FIFA World Cup with injury when Joachim Low’s team lifted the prestigious trophy. To make things even worse for Marco Reus, he was forced to withdraw from the Germany Euro 2016 squad as well (injury). The German ace has a contract with Borussia Dortmund which expires on 30 June, 2019.

Leipzig are a professional football club founded in 2009. Die Bullen (The Bulls) were unbeaten in the 2012/2013 Regionalliga Nordost and, as a result, they secured promotion to the 3. Liga. After finishing the 2013/2014 as 3rd. Liga campaign in second place in the standings, Leipzig were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga and they competed in the German second tier for two seasons.
Despite suffering a loss to Karlsruher on the last day of the 2015/2016 round in the 2. Bundesliga campaign, die Bullen secured promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time ever. Leipzig play their home games at Red Bull Arena (42,959) and it has to be noted that the stadium was opened in 1954.
