Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Following a 2-2 draw with Darmstadt, Eintracht Frankfurt will look to return to winning ways in Bundesliga when they face Mainz on Matchday 19. Die Adler have been producing fine displays in January and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to beat die Nullfunfer in front of home fans. All Fares Chaibi, Ellyes Skhiri and Omar Marmoush are on international duty, while both Sasa Kalajdic and Mehdi Loune are sidelined with injuries. Mainz, on the other hand, head into Friday’s clash following a 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg.
Die Nullfunfer, though, are on a seven-game winless run in the national championship, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Eintracht Frankfurt. Jae-Sung Lee is representing South Korea at the 2024 Asian Cup, while fellow midfielder Nelson Weiper remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.
